You really don't have to worry about us Heidi - we get plenty of hot weather in Australia and I've never understood people who want the weather to be the same, day in day out. Personally, I just LIVE for winter - and I live in Canberra where we get frosts and sub-zero temperatures nearly every night. The last few days - maximum 9C (48F).
